During the season you may not have any more than 24 players on your active roster at a time. You will be allowed to put up to 3 injured players on IR but then just like the NFL, you may not activate them rest of the year. With the new short term IR, you will be allowed to activate one if he is activated by his NFL team. Only players that have been put on I.R. in the NFL are allowed on our I.R. as well, this has changed from the first two season in which players on P.U.P were allowed as well.
Players on IR will still count towards your salary.
In the offseason as soon as Free Agency opens back up in March you are allowed up to 30 players on your roster. Final cuts down to 24 are to be made before the end of the 4th preseason games. Any teams with more than that are after the cutdown date are subject to a penalty of 5 pts for their first game. That penalty of 5 pts will accumulate each day from there, if nothing is done by the 7th day, the owner will be booted, and the team will be staff run, until a new owner can be brought in. (Never had to go that far, and fingers crossed!)
The roster setup is as follows-
QB-
RB-
RB/WR-
WR-
TE-
K-
DL-
DL-
DL/LB-
LB-
LB-
DB-
DB-
DB-

Roster Threads
Each team has a thread created for their team, can be accessed through rosters on the main page. Each thread is your own, this is a good place to post yearly rosters, so you can see how your team changes from year to year. Any stats from a particular season you feel would be interesting to look back on. Trades, ect. This is your thread to keep whatever you want on. You want to write for all to see you could post a weekly column on how the league is going, how your team is shaping up. Go at it!
Penalties
You must start a player at each position. If you do not have a QB or PK per say, you can start a player who is a FA, or on IR. But the spot must be filled each week. Even if that player is on bye. Not following the rule will incur a 5 pt penalty. If you notice someone did not or is not following this rule, please notify staff, as we are only human and cannot catch every mistake!
I think this is written somewhere else, but I'll keep it here as well, RB/WR flex is just for that RB or WR not QB or TE. This allows you to start two RB's and one WR or two WR's and one RB not three of either position. If this happens the player of the highest score from that position will be penalized meaning his score will be wiped away.
Same thing goes for the defensive side of the ball. DL/LB flex is just that one extra DL or LB, not DB, not 4 DL's or 4 LB's, only 3 max of one or the other. Penalty again will be the highest players score from that position. IE a 4th DB is started in the DL/LB flex spot the highest DB's score will be wiped away, and so on.
