Alright guys. this is what we would probly do (thanks for the thought tho oakland), if we do anything
-every team gets 3 or 4 practice squad spots. these players contracts count towards the cap. if u place one of these players on the practice squad, u cant play him for the whole season, unless one of ur players goes on IR
now before we go and decide for sure on staff, i want to see how u guys feel about this. vote away!
and if u guys have any minor suggestions that would sway ur vote from a no to a yes, we want to hear that too

next year. too much has gone on this year and you would have to raise caps or put a practice squad cap down...

ya thats probly how itl play out. as far as raising the cap, the players u put here are for the most part gonna be guys u signed for 250k so i dont think it should affect the cap. either u save a little cap for the squad, or u dont carry one. its not mandatory. i think this can fit pretty seamlessly into our current system, but i agree strategy may have been affected so waiting til next year may be beneficial/

You know I am all for it, yall will not believe how much this will help in getting and developing young talent for your teams, mainly 3rd round pics, and if you go get young talent and place them on your practice squad they may even be there 2 years but that is what it is for. Your future starters that you saw something in before any one else, your prospects and even good talented back ups to veteran players that may retire in a year or 2, if you do good research and have that vets replacement on your practice squad and he announces his retirement in the off season, just slide his replacement in to the line up, instead of scrambling to find a replacement, it really will help add another aspect of realism to the league, and that is what it is all about.

Would the player limit just be whatever it is plus the practice squad or do they count towards the limit?

ya we could do that. 30 plus however many practice squad spots would be the offseason limit

I think i'm one of the only people that dislikes this idea whether it's for next season or this season, obviously if people want it i will go with it though. I just don't like it though cause i feel that not only will It make things even more complicated but it will also affect peoples strategy on how they've already put their foundation together since this is the first season of this league. We should stick to the 24 man roster otherwise we might as well just expand the roster. Also, we are suppose to be building our 24 man rosters on strategy to win not only for the immediate season but for the next couple of years, thats the whole point of this league. So just do your research on rookies and pay attention to news and games, we all have to make gambles when we cut someone so i just feel the practice squad is another name for "i really just don't have the balls to cut this person but i don't want anyone else to have him yet squad". So again I say No.

thats cool. this would probly go into effect next offseason if that makes any difference. and i would be open to increasing roster size since we dont even have 1 backup for every starter but its the commish's call. this is just a nice way to store talent. i dont think its too complicated either. u should see what the commish wants to do.
