i think the regular season to playoff tiebreaker should be different...points shouldnt be the 1st thing considered....i think it should be head to head record vs teams considered, division wins, and then points
dunno if im the only one who is for htis but it should be considered for next yr

with the unevenness of divisions (for example nfc east compared to nfc west) division record doesnt make too much sense. wed like to work in head to head records, but what about like this year where there are 6 afc teams with the same record and they all have different head to heads. if it comes down to 2 teams for one spot, than ya head to head makes sense, but that rarely happens (maybe wel find a way to work in head to head in division races).
but when its all said and done, what differentiates records better in a fantasy league than the amount of points teams have scored? i kno ur pissed because u didnt score enough points to win the tiebreak and make the playoffs, but that just means u werent as good as some of the other teams that scored more. wer not gonna change everything cause u didnt win the tiebreak

this is fantasy not real life. we dont play defense, all we can do is put up as many points as we can, and thats why total points makes the most sense in this instance. but we will talk it over on staff in the offseason, il give u that much

yea its bad enough teams have the ability to win a playoff spot because you were in a weak division - i hate seeing teams that score a ton of points lose out on playoffs because theyre one off week they lost to a bad team...
if you score the most you should get the tie breaker - like you said its fantasy football and points is what this game is all about

haha man i am not pissed cause i didnt make the playoffs i didnt deserve to cause my team sucked and were injured often....i am just suggesting like i said earlier..doesnt have to happen just saying...and when i say division records i mean between teams in own division..because i just find it funny that me and oakland had same record and i beat him in both games i played him and he went to playoffs...im not B_t_ign just thought that funny....but yah i undertsand points i guess is simplest way to break the ties

I have to agree with KC on this one. Not that it matters now but I do think that division record should be the first deciding factor on a tie breaker. Just a thought for next year, maybe it's worth a vote. I will gladly follow whatever the staff decides though.

What team missed out that deserved to get in? AFC West isn't even the weakest division, count the points. Yes you were in a tough division, that's the breaks. But the way I look at it is that KC's weak division still has 2 teams in the playoffs. This league is molded after the NFL, a division winner not making the playoffs would be like an NFC West team in the NFL not making the playoffs because of their mediocre record. I hope you don't take the wrong way, I'm just sticking up for KC and the AFC West. ;D
