There needs to be a way to end this loop hole where teams can cut on a player and immediately re-bid on that same player just to lower their original contract. I understand that the team that cuts the player is gambling on getting them back but i still think that if a player is cut then that team that cut that player cannot bid on them till another team releases that player again. That rule will help avoid teams cutting people just to see if they can lower the contract and it will make them think twice about releasing someone

I dont know about ending them but a waiver period set for that team would be nice... they cant place a bid for a certain number of days or something - if biddings still going on after the period (3 days/5 days example) then they can bid again...

Maybe next year, but I inherited this team and some contracts just sucked so it may be necessary...

I believe we already had a thread on this. I get the frustration but hey, it is a gamble. That's how I Cassel when KC cut him and bid right away. Sometimes they win and sometimes they lose doing it.

Aw, its called contract negotiations, besides that is what the RB is for. Free market sets the price. 32 teams (not 32-1 team). It is all part of the game, and perhaps we see it more now because we have a mixture of player salaries that were not originally set by the dynasty freemarket. Over time as we play the old NFL salaries will go away and all the players will have more dynasty friendly salaries. My vote is no change, if they are a free agent they could go to anyteam that bids the highest. Roster Bonus will also reduce the amount of these we see.

There is no problem with re bidding. If you wanted the player for a lower price its your own risk. i dont think we should change it.

i dont think we should change it. cause when u drop the player it aint a guarentee u are gonna sign him. so it should stay the way it is. with no changes. if the owner wants to save money by doing that let him do it. it could be a smart strategy or a total fail.
