After 2 (or more) teams have agree on a trade, post it in the Accepted Trades board with the players name and position, or the draft picks, INCLUDE the ROUND, YEAR, and TEAM, or the amount of cash being traded. Any trades without the round, year and team of picks will not be processed until modified. Trading is also allowed on MFL, but we ask that you please post it here as well, just some teams like talking trade better there.
Example-
Team A gets-
Pos. Player B
2011 TEAM B 1st round pick
Team B gets-
2010 TEAM A 3rd round pick
$10 million
Remember how RB works, if you trade a player with RB, that RB is still specific to you and that player so you must pay it off. You can ask for money to cover it or not, that is up to you. You can split it or not just like when you cut a player...
Then the other team(s) involved must post that they accept the trade. If the trade is modified by the poster (which can be seen at the bottom of posts), then the other team will have to accept (again) saying it is accepted with the modification. Then staff members will approve the deal and move it into final deals. It will be open for any of the staff members to call an appeal of the trade for 24 hours. If no staff members appeal, the deal will be moved to final deals, if it is appealed, staff will review it and make a decision if it is fair or not, and owners may be asked why they made the trade.
NEW MODIFICATION FOR 2012 SEASON
Trade Deadline week 12 (End of our regular season)
Trading is frozen after that until it is opened back up in January.
Once a trade has gone final and is processed on the forum and games site, unless it is under rare circumstances, it cannot be undone. The only realistic reasons for the reversal of a trade in the Finalized Trades board would be a player being on multiple rosters (although compensation is usually given as a supplemental draft pick instead), collusion, or ‘team dumping’.
